PHOTO INFORMATION
Photographs capture our most treasured memories – birthdays, weddings, family and friends – but don't always get the consideration they deserve. Often photos have not been sorted for years or decades, and are being stored in ways that hasten their deterioration.
Bloom says leaving your photos in basements or attics can cause problems. Keep them instead in the living areas of the house at a constant temperature away from heat, high humidity and sunlight. Don't use magnetic albums with pages that pictures stick on – over time they can literally "eat" your photos.
Remember that the history of a business should also be properly preserved.
Photos, contracts, press clippings are all a record of a business -- it's life and growth.
